Scott Fraiser a contributer to this
site says buried in Timmons Cemetery is:
FRASER, Elijah, 1871 - 1898. (s/o William Doss Fraser and Martha Ann Harris
Fraser; h/o Alla Estella Seaton with child, Ulna Hobart Fraser. Scott's contact
is sofraser@aol.com.) (unmarked grave
- or lost tombstone or both.)
1986 F.L.H.: One heavy pillar is down and any
inscription that might be on it is hidden on under side. Several other spaces
appear to have been used for burial purposes. The cemetery is in bad shape now.
Cattle are permitted to roam in the area at will and have pushed some of the
stones over and limbs from large trees have broken off and lay where they have
fallen.
2009 WA: The condition of the cemetery is much better than the above account in
1986. There was a fence around it and some signs of occasional maintenance of
the grounds and tombs. Still one or two tombs were down and it would require
special equipment to fix those. I believe all the inscriptions were available for reading
though I did not see the James David Hamilton inscription mentioned in M.C.T.C..
nor the John William Carrigan memorial mentioned in T.P.T.W.
