This work resulted from a quick photo trip thru this cemetery to capture the stones that were dated after 1987. We added a few old stones at random. That yielded an almost complete update. Mr Fred had this to say: "This has been the principal graveyard for the residents of the Sawdust neighborhood for many years. There are only a few graves marked with fieldstones but there are many bare spots where interments were probably made in years past. There is a section, separated by a line of trees, used by the black families of the community. [Fred Lee Hawkins. 1987]
