SCOTT, M. E.,
14 Dec 1858 - 31 Dec 1899. (Same tombstone with: Courtney, Mary Scott.)
and
COURTNEY, Mary Scott, 28 Aug 1861 -17 Feb 1913. (2nd wife Joseph H. Courtney;
Same stone: M. E. Scott.)
also
SCOTT, Emmett B., 13 Nov 1882 - 30 Oct 1883. 'Son M. E. & M. H.' I must
venture to say here that in 1897 Helen Courtney died and left Joseph Courtney a
widower and in 1899 M. E. Scott died leaving Mary Scott a widow and then Mary
Scott and Joseph Courtney married. There are at least three graves inside this
iron fence.
