WATSON, William Henry, son of Alexander
Watson, was born in Giles Co., Tenn. on 20 Jan 1845. As a very young man he
joined the Confederate Army, first enlisting in Co. G, 9th Tenn Cav. and later
serving in the 48th Tenn Infantry. Returning home after the war, he married
Ellen Journey and to them eight children were born. Ellen died in 1894 and in
1897 Mr. Watson married Miss Lizzie Porter. He died on 1 Apr 1913.
