NOTE: Nathan Castleberry Johnson came to Limestone Co. around the time of Henry Clay's death. Dr. Walter Johnson of Pulaski, states that he heard family members tell of the traffic jam on the stage roads at that time. The Johnson family had to pull off the road frequently to let funeral-goers pass.
