Benjamin F. Hood died at his father's residence on Knob Creek Saturday, in his 19th year. He was buried Sunday, Revs. Roberts and Patton conducted the funeral exercises. The young man was the son of Mr. N. B. Hood, and had been sick with pneumonia for only a short time when he died. -- Columbia Herald, 29 Nov. 1901. obit sent to Mary Bob by Kendall Sparkman
