HANKS, Esther, Died 29 Dec 1868, Aged 62 years "wife of E. Hanks" (nee Williams; 2nd wife of Rev Elijah Hanks, pioneer Baptist preacher. (This stone is broken and most of it is gone F. L. H., 1986)

MILLER, Vinson, 5 Apr 1796 - 20 Jun 1848. Aged 52yrs, 2 mo. & 15 days.(Son of Fredrick & Mary Frances Carter Miller; Halifax Co. Va. native; apparently moved to Maury Co. NEVILS, B. . . . . , born the 25th . . . . . and departed this life 5 Feb 1840, Age 49 yrs, 9 mos. and 11 days. (This stone is broken into fragments, most of which are gone. Footstone with initials B. N. is still standing F. L. H., 1986)

This was once a large cemetery, as there are a good number of graves marked by fieldstones scattered over a large area. F. L. H., 1986

The Vinson Miller stone is the only one standing complete in the entire cemetery.
