LANCASTER CEMETERY, (Blue Springs Rd), MAURY COUNTY TENNESSEE

Go east on old Lewisburg Pike (Hwy. 50) to Fountain Creek Bridge. Continue for about 1/4 mile and enter farm lane on left. From house, go north across top of ridge for one half mile. The cemetery is in the edge of the woods on the bluff overlooking Cedar Creek. It is very hard to find.

LANCASTER, Michael L., 16 Dec 1780 -12 Aug 1862. (81-7-26) "He served his country in the Creek War in 1811, was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church for 50 years.'
LANCASTER, Susan, 12 Mar 1781 - 5 Nov 1876. (95-07-23.) 'She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church for 78 years.'

Actually this cemetery is close to Blue Springs Road, but do not attempt to visit it from there because of the high bluffs and deep creek.
