GALLOWAY, Enoch, 5 Dec
1784 - Sep 1867. (born in North Carolina; migrated to Maury Co in 1809 and
married Anna Beale Taylor (1782-1835). They had two sons Matthew and Uriah and
may have had other children. After Anna's death, Enoch married Elizabeth Trimble
in 1836. During the "War of 1812" Enoch served as a Private in the 2nd Regiment

There are two or three tombstones marked with fieldstones.
This cemetery listing was published in the various books of the past. The last one Mr. Fred Lee Hawkins in the book "Maury County Tennessee Cemeteries" listed this cemetery on page 130. He visited there 10 Feb 1987. Prior to that it was listed in the book "They Passed This Way" page B-68, about 1963. Transcription provided by Mary Bob McClain, complied from various sources.
