WILLIAMSON, Charles Samuel, Apr. 10, 1837 - Mar. 13, 1913. He was a Maury
County native and lifelong resident and the son of George C. Williamson.
Charles was killed in the tornado that hit Culleoka on Mar. 13, 1913. His wife
Izora was also injured in the tornado. Her sister, Alice Wilkes Peebles, was
the only other person killed that day. He served in Company G, 11th Tennessee
Cavalry, Confederate States of America in the Civil War.

Izora Wilkes, Nov. 19, 1848 - Nov. 30, 1921. Born in Culleoka Tennessee she was
the daughter of Rev. William Harris Wilkes and Mary Kennedy Amis. She married

Charles and Izora were the parents of 6 children: Alice Brown Williamson,
Georgia Florence Williamson, Dr. George W. Williamson, Mary Tabitha Williamson,
