Zollicoffer, Felix Kirk, b. May 19, 1812 0 January 19, 1862.
Born in Bigbyville, Maury County, Tenn. Member of Tennessee State Senate.
1849 fought a pistol duel with rival editor John I. Martin, in Nashville, Tennee,
1852, U.S. Representative from Tennessee 8th District, 1853-49; general in the
Confederate Army during the Civil War. Killed in battle near Mill Springs, Wayne
County, Ky. Interment at Nashville City Cemetery, Nashvile, Davidson Co., Tennessee.
