Mr. Albert "Jack" Kelley, 81, a resident of Witherspoon Rd. in Columbia, died Wednesday, December 25, 2002 at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Kelley will be conducted Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Jimmy Mathews officiating. Burial will follow in Kelley Cemetery on Old Kelley Rd with Military Honors provided by the Herbert Griffin Post #19. The family will visit with friends Thursday and Friday from 1:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral Home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Bud and Betty Stanfill Kelley. He was the husband of Christine Hill Kelley. He was owner and operator of Kelley's Tree Service and an Army Sergeant of WWII, where he was wounded on D-Day and at the Normandy Front.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters; Deborah Ann, Rhonda Fay and Kimberly Diane Kelley, all of Columbia; five grandchildren, Terry Lee Kelley, Jacklyn Krista Potts, Chasity Fay Kelley, Jenny Diane Frost and Jessica Lynn Kelley, all of Columbia; two sisters, Christine Givens of Columbia and Helen Watts of Florence, Al.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Lindsey; a son, Winford Kelley and several brothers and sisters.
Active pallbearers will be Jerry Wayne Kelley, Chris Kelley, Kevin Thomason, Steve Thomason, Mike Rogers and Tommy Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Jack Coggeshall, Anne Bonnila and the staff of the Williamson Medical Center.
