SCRUGGS, Thomas, died 27 Nov 1845. Aged 63 Years. "Sacred to the Memory of Thomas Scruggs, 
who Departed this life on the 27th day of November A.D. 1845 Aged about 63 years. Notice the 
interesting symbols at the bottom of the inscription. I am unaware of it had significant meaning.
