 JONAS L. WILEY OF SOUTHPORT DIES HERE Wednesday Oct 17, 1962

 

Jonas L. "Joe" Wiley, 69, farmer of the Southport Community died Wednesday at the Fairmont Nursing Home, following several weeks of illness. Services are to be at 1 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Home.

 Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Eugene Barrell Paster of Enterprise Methodist Church is the officiate. The body will be at the funeral home.

A native of Maury County he was the son of the late John Robert and Jennie London Wiley & Grandson of William Young Wiley. He was a lifelong resident of the Southport Community.

Survivors include three sisters, Kate Dugger, Southport, Mrs. Eslick Overstreet, Enterprise, Mrs. Cleve Woodard, Mt Pleasant, several nieces and nephews. The body will be at the funeral home.

Pallbearers. are to be Bobby Collier, Jimmy Brunson, Jimmy Watkins, John Green, Raymond Oliver and Pete Gibson.
