"Jim", 24 May 1931 - 10 Sep 2010. (Maury Co. native; s/o late Cleveland Sullivan
Weatherford and Dessie Lee Ozburn Weatherford; h/o Diane Martin Weatherford;
dated for 22 years before marrying in 1999; attended public school in Maury Co.
public school and MTSU; Veteran U.S. Army, serving from 1952-1954, Sgt.,
receiving National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, an honorable
discharge; then graduated pre-law at Northwestern, entered Cumberland Law School
graduating in 1957, passing the bar in Dec. 1958; practicing in Lawrence Co.,
elected Circuit Judge of the 11th (now 22nd) judicial district for 3 - 8 yr.
terms and retired in 2006; preceded in death by sister, Peggy Weatherford Poag
and son William Bailey "Bill" Weatherford, who died in 2008.)
