MARVIN CROSTHWAIT DIES IN DALLAS, TEXAS - News has been received by Mrs. S. P. Payne announcing the death of her cousin Marvin Crosthwait, which occurred Thursday at a hospital in Dallas, Texas. The remains will reach Mt. Pleasant Sunday morning and be taken directly to Arlington cemetery where the interment will take place. The deceased was a cousin of Mrs. Payne and was reared by her from infancy. He was a cousin of Mrs. Jack Davis of Mt. Pleasant and of Mrs. Comer Smith of this city (Columbia). Marvin Crosthwait was for a number of years in the employ of Woldridge & Irvine Co., and during that time he made a host of friends that will be grieved to learn of his death. For a number of years deceased had been engaged in business in Dallas, where he had been quite prosperous and won for himself a large circle of friends.
