Agnes Wilkes Brooks Connor, 87, homemaker and long-time resident of the Hampshire Community, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at NHC Columbia.
Burial in Worley Cemetery.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Enoch Brooks and Clara Haley Brooks. She was a faithful member of Cathey�s Creek Church of Christ for many years and a 50-year member of Hampshire Family & Community Education Club (FCE).
Mrs. Connor enjoyed gardening and spending time with her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, V. K. Connor in November of 1974, and brother Donald H. Brooks of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Survivors include her daughter, Laura (Richard) Hayes of Hampshire; son, Kenny (Nancy) Connor of Linden.
Active pallbearers include Brad Wheatley, Scott McEndarfer, Matthew Wheatley, Ethan McEndarfer, Steven Bennett, Ray Walters, and Paul Lusk. Honorary pallbearers are Judy and Gene Ray Baxter, Pat and Bobby Grimmitt, �Back Row� at Cathey�s Creek Church of Christ, Dr. Cummins Couch and Staff, and Staff of NHC Columbia.
