WINN, W. A., 29 Aug 1828 - 12 Dec 1866.
 (William Alexander Winn was the son of Archelaus Winn and Susanna Bellenfant. He married Sophronia Cheatham, dau. of John Cheatham and Elizabeth Amis, on Dec. 16, 1874. The couple lived in Maury Co. TN and were parents of one dau. Ella Winn (buried in Winn Cemetery) and three sons, William B. Winn, John B. Winn, and Louis A. Winn. All three sons moved to Texas. His wife Mrs. Sophronia Winn is buried in Forreston Cemetery, Forreston, Ellis Co. TX near the graves of sons, L. A. Winn and William B. Winn. (submitted by descendant Stephanie Winn Miller)
