Annis Briggs tombstone just to the right of the displaced Amerrillo Kittrell memorial. It too is displaced and only a fragment of the top is still visible with inscription on it.
BRIGGS, Annis, 19 Feb 1807 - 3 _ _ 1847. Aged 39 yrs, was a member of (Methodist Church ) at this place. (Fragment of top of box tomb.) (wife of John Briggs) Inscription: "In (memory of) ANNIS BRIGGS (the wife of John Briggs) -- born Feb 19th 1807 - (died ---) 3rd 1847 aged 39 y(ears -- months & -- days) and was a member of the (Methodist Church) at this place."
