Dory Lawrence Adams was born 22 Dec 1901 in Giles County, Tennessee to Lewis Riddle Adams and Sammie Colvett. On 20 Jun 1924, he married Annie Leota Sharp, daughter of James Anderson Sharp and Sallie Ann Hardison of the Sharp�s Corner community in Maury County. Dory and Leota had one child, Dory Lawrence �Junior� Adams, Jr. Dory died on 10 Oct 1933 and was buried in the Sharp Cemetery in Maury County.
