HILL CEMETERY, COLUMBIA TENNESSEE
Mr. Ernest Criswell Vick was 75 years of age and a retired truck driver,
carpenter and a resident of Blythe Circle. He died Friday Jan. 7, 2000 at Wayne
Medical Center in Waynesboro. His Funeral service was conducted Monday Jan. 10,
2000 at 2:30 p.m. at Oaks and Nichols with Wendell Jump officiating. Burial was
in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the son of the late
Robert Smith, Sr. and Mary Helen Henson Vick. He was a member of the Church of
Christ and was a van driver for the Maury County Senior Citizens for several
years. He is survived today by his wife, Mrs. Ola Mae Carroll Vick of Columbia;
three daughters, Mrs. Joe (Carolyn) Fults of Lewisburg, Mrs. Beverly Ring of
Hohenwald and Mrs. Kathy Hardiman of Columbia; Four sons, Jimmy P. (Barbara)
Vick, Sr. and Jerry (Norma) Vick of Spring Hill, Steve Vick and Bobby Vick of
Columbia: three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Ashley and Mrs. Alta Dawson of Columbia
and Mrs. Imogene Tatum of Pulaski; three brothers, Robert C. (Lucille) Vick, Jr.
and Joe (Martha) Vick of Columbia and George (Elizabeth) Vick of Kentucky;
thirteen grandchildren and eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Tim W. Barker, Jimmy P. Vick, Jr., Gerald W. Vick, David
Crowell, James Cole, David Carroll, David Barker, and Joe Fults. Honorary
pallbearer were Joe Pierce.
