Mrs. Nellie Mae Lemay Thomason, 92, widow of Houston Thomason, Sr. and a resident of Gardner Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Columbia Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Thomason will be conducted Friday, December 10, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Brother Billy Dean Felker and Brother Dalton Cole officiating. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late Albert Ross and Minnie Bell Thomas Lemay. Mrs. Thomason was a homemaker, farmer, and a member of the Porter�s Chapel Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, Houston (Dorothy) Thomason, Jr. of Columbia, TN and Willis Howard (Dorothy) Lemay of Mt. Pleasant, TN; a sister, Mary Bell (Jake) Metlock of Brentwood, TN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Robert Allen, Billy Ray Lemay, Bobby Lemay, Claude Lemay, John �Junior� Lemay, and Darrell King. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Lanton Church of Christ.
