Mrs. Jane Pullen, Maury Native, Rites Friday

Mrs. Jane Gilbreath Pullen died at the Norton Infirmary in Louisville, Ky. Wednesday following several months of illness. She had been living with her sister Mrs. Frank Wilkes since June.

Services are to be conducted at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. W. Fred Gates Jr., rector of St. Peter�s Episcopal Church, is to officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.

A native of Maury County, she was the daughter of the late John Alexander and Mary Agnes Mathews Gilbreath. She was a member of the St. Luke Episcopal Church in Atlanta, GA.

Mrs. Pullen was educated at the Columbia Institute and Tennessee College for Women at Murfreesboro. She was a retired secretary for Laid-Law Brothers Book Company.

She had lived in Atlanta, GA for 35 years until last June.

Survivors, in addition to Mrs. Wilkes, are another sister, Mrs. Walter Patterson, Columbia; five brothers, Jeff T. Gilbreath, Hereford, Texas, the Rev. R. R. Gilbreath, Amarillo, Texas, the Rev. J. Earl Gilbreath, of Athens, Ga., Emmitt Gilbreath, Southport, and Claude T. Gilbreath, Tustin, Calif.

Pallbearers are to be J. Hugh Roberson, Marine Bledsoe, John A. Harris, Jake Orr, Edd Mathews, Needham Coppedge, Robert C. Barrow and Sam Sweeney.
