RAGSDALE, Dr.? J.D.? 26 Sep 1839 - 18 Nov 1877. Mason. (Stone broken clear thru the name. The translation of this inscription is uncertain, though I am certain of the dates. Is is possible that this could be the memorial for James D. Ragsdale. If so he served in the C.S.A. and filed a claim against the U.S. Quartermaster Dept in 1875.He is born at the right time to be a Civil War Soldier.)
