Obituary
Kenneth R. Wentzel, 70, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at his residence.

A native of Centerville, he was retired from Heil Quaker Corporation with 47 years of service, a member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Mr. Wentzel was preceded in death by his parents Wilford Wentzel and Marie Ade Wentzel; two sisters, Evelyn Fuller and Mable Banks; and one brother, Wilford Wentzel Sr.

He is survived by three sons, Stan Wentzel of the Belfast Community, David Wentzel of the Delina Community, and Richie Wentzel of the Farmington Community; four sisters, Marie Jones of Hendersonville, Margaret Henderson of Fayettville, Grace Pinkerton of Centerville, and Vernell W. Marshall of Lewisburg; one brother, Authur Wentzel of Cornersville; three special neices, Dorothy Shelton, Mary Ann Fuller and Fay Nix; one special friend, Mary McMillian; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Van Cleave officiating, followed by burial in Rock Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17.

Memorial donations may be made to the Rock Springs Baptist Church or the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
