MORTON
CEMETERY, LEFTWICH, MAURY COUNTY TENNESSEE
<--> |
This view looks slightly west to south. A high amount of soldiers of military
conflict are interred here, which helped give Tennessee its name the
"Volunteer State". Beginning with the War of 1812, all the way thru
the Vietnam War.
Looking at the cemetery from the front side. There is a circular road around the
cemetery that allows access from all sides but the community growth will come
mostly here on the front side.
