Sterling Mooney; h/o Creola Catherine Hammonds Mooney; This is personal info told to me by my grandfather long before he passed away.I have a map of the cemetery that he personally drew showing me the spots where they were buried. His grandfather, father and sister is buried there among other of his relatives.) Ref: Martha Childress

** "Mary J. Childress is not buried in the Mooney-Childress Cemetery in Glendale, TN. Only her husband is buried where the tombstone sits. She is buried in Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan. My grandfather, M. R. Childress, and Mary J.'s son, Hazel Childress had the stone put in the cemetery and just added her name to it as a memorial. She was living in Pontiac with her son, Hazel and his wife when she passed away. I do have a copy of her death notice as proof. Mary J. was my great-great grandmother. I (Martha) have supplied you with the above listing of all who are buried there in the cemetery with and with inscribed headstones. Except for the two inscribed headstones there, my grandfather put cinder blocks in place to mark all of the other graves including his father and sister." 

This information was related to me (Martha) by my grandfather long before he passed away. I have a map of the cemetery that he personally drew showing me the places they were buried. This cemetery has been enclosed with a chain-link fence but the vines and bushes just about cover the area. (Commentary by Mr. Fred Hawkins, 29 Feb 1988.)

Also published in the following book: Maury County Tennessee Cemeteries, Page 457, Fred L. Hawkins, (Listed 29 Feb 1988). According to Mr Fred Hawkins there were  a total of 17 unmarked stones in place with 10 of them being for the Childress family and 7 of them being Mooney. If that is true we are still unaware of a few burials/listings.
