HATCHER, Florence Phillips, d. 9 Jul 1941. (Note: Funeral announcement for "Mrs Ethelbert Henry Hatcher" in the Birmingham News July 7, 1941 notes the passing of Mrs. Ethelbert Henry Hatcher. She was born in Quachita Parrish, LA, Aug 1861, and married Ethelbert Henry Hatcher, a widely known lawyer in TN. She was 18 when they married in 1880. Her parents were Charles W and Mrs. Jane Crockett Phillips. The article also states that they settled in MauryCo, TN about a year after their marriage. The article also states that their home near Columbia, TN became a beauty spot of this section. This article was in the Birmingham News.
