Ben Loftin "Shot in back in
Tulia, Texas, he and his brother Henry were doing some fencing. A man named
Hogan with whom they had some difficulty shot Ben & wounded Henry; he was 35
& the unmarried son of Mrs. Love Loftin. (Columbia Herald, 5 Mar 1915)
