Lawrence Cemetery is beside US Hwy #243, in the northern section of the city of Mt. Pleasant. This cemetery is divided into two parts, both of which are enclosed in historic rock walls. The upper part is the family burial grounds of the Lawrence family, & the lower part, opened in 1896, is owned by other families.
