In the southwest corner of this walled in cemetery is this memorial to W.R. & Permelia A. Kittrell.
KITTRELL, W. R., 14 Feb 1823 -16 Nov 1895. "born Sumner Co., Tenn; Our Father and Mother,"
KITTRELL, Permelia A., died 23 Sep 1884. "born Bedford Co., Va; married 23 Jul 1845."
"Rest Father & Mother Rest in quiet Sleep. While friends in sorrow oer thee weep."
This photo was made pointing the camera directly in the direction of the Jones Presbyterian Church Cemetery beginning about 80 yards further up the hill in the trees. There are several fences here indicating a change in ownership of properties and also keeping cattle out of the cemetery areas. Something these owners should be commended for.
