Parents rode two days in a buggy back to Maury County from Nashville to bury this child in a hand made cedar casket lined with flannel.David Lipscomb's name is penned to David Lipscomb College in Nashville, a highly acclaimed Christian College.

"This cemetery has been abandoned for a long time. Some of the graves are enclosed inside an iron fence. That part is badly grown up. Outside this fence, cattle have tumbled many stones, broken others and trampled underground still more of them." F.L.H., 1987.
