HOPEWELL AMERICAN REFORMED PRESBYTERIAN (ARP) CHURCH & CEMETERY-MAURY COUNTY TENNESSEE
A complete listing is included here containing photo pages of the memorials.
The numerical number to the left of the
listing is the order of progress of the photographer and reflects the direction
from row to row and down the
rows of the cemetery beginning at the southwest corner next to the church. A sequential order of a stone denotes burial next to
another except when the Photographer finished the row and proceeded to the next
row east and also where there may have been skips or unmarked graves. The photographer traveled north on the first row then east to get to row two then
south on row two and then east on to the third row etc. to finish the
cemetery. This
cemetery is traditional protestant meaning the foot of the graves are on the
east end and the stones generally face east for the second coming of Jesus Christ and the
raising of the dead.
