Margaret Harlan [Holt] Sisk, 91, died 31 Jan 2008 at NHC Columbia. Burial was in Cross Bridges Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Reuben Holt and Lucy [Hines] Holt. She was a seamstress for several clothing manufacturers including Weather Tarner, Dixie Mfg. and Maury Mfg. Some of these manufacturers had contracts for WWII products & services. Survivors include her daughter, Ruby (Tommy) Johnson of Columbia; five grandchildren, Mike (Valerie) Johnson and Susan Johnson, of Columbia, Mitchell (Sharon) Johnson of St. Augustine, FL, Jeff (Tammy) Sisk of Mt. Pleasant, Debbie (Tim) Vinson of Franklin; 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie B. Sisk, a son, J.M. "Butch" Sisk; two brothers, Jim Massey and John Holt; one sister, Elese Scott; and a great-granddaughter, Stephanie Ann Johnson.
