The large monument in the center is the Kannon memorial. The top is fallen and stands separately. Part of it can be seen on the left edge of the above photo.

"ERECTED -- in memory of -- BURWELL KANNON -- Born Nov. 9th -- 1771 died May 19th -- 1858 aged 86 -- years 7 months -- & 10 days."
