HARDISON (HUMPHREY) CEMETERY-MAURY COUNTY TENNESSEE

Cross Duck River on Sowell Mill Pike, turn left (north) on Arthur Sampson Road, go about .4 of a mile. Cemetery is 200 yards beyond first house (address 3710) on left in middle of open field 150 yards out. This is the old Arthur Sampson farm. Across the road was the old William A & Mary V. Wilcox farm. It is marked by the old chimneys still standing today.

Unlike what Mr. Fred Lee Hawkins found, this cemetery gets the award for being the best kept old cemetery in Maury County Tennessee today. It is fenced, the stones are clean, and standing as much as possible, and there is no overgrown brush. The land owner is to be commended. I will not mention his name but he is the New Leasea Church of Christ Preacher. They are neat orderly respectful people. There also is a cemetery restoration team in charge. I am unaware of his or her name.
