James Baker aged 72 years, highly esteemed citizen of Santa Fe community died
Saturday morning at his home following a short illness. Mr. Baker was a member
of the Methodist church and a man who enjoyed the esteem and confidence of a
wide circle of friends. He is survived by his wife and six sons, B. H., J. C.,
Jr., Woodrow, Wallace, Robert, Sam and Eugene Baker, and the following
daughters, Mrs. Irene Shelton of Nashville, Mrs. Tennie Jack of Theta, Mrs.
Carrie McKee of Hohenwald, Dorothy Baker of Santa Fe and Annie Mae McKee of
Hohenwald. Funeral Services were conducted by Rev. W. E. Walker and Rev. Paul
Lanius with internment in the Goshen Cemetery, Oakes and Nicholas Funeral
Directors, in charge.
