GOODING
CEMETERY-LYTLE CREEK & HICKMAN LANE, MAURY COUNTY TENNESSEE
The Gooding Cemetery after we uncovered many of the stones from
the ground. Most of these are parts of box tombs. I think one has to agree this
is one of the worst torn up cemeteries ever by Vandals. Believe it or not it
could be restored again. Photo by Mary Belle Duvivier.
Looking further southwest we see a few of the upright
memorials.
This view looking northeast shows the upright memorials
Wayne Austin & Marc Duvivier uncovering the buried memorial stones.
This is the view when one approaches the cemetery
from the farm road. We are looking southeast.
Photos by Mary Belle Duvivier (a descendent of this cemetery) of New York 14 Apr 2008. Accompanying Mary Belle
& Marc Duvivier that day was Wayne Austin, a Maury County researcher.
