The Rook cemetery lies next to the road and a fence is between it and the Gilliam Cemetery. That is not to separate the two cemeteries as it is a stock cattle fence. The Rook Cemetery is much newer than the old Gilliam Cemetery but has only two or three memorials. One or two of the memorials is also hand made indicating the desire to hand fashion memorials using inexpensive methods. This is a great idea in theory but does not work well in practice.
