Funeral services for George E. Hines, 82, were conducted Friday, August 4, at Young�s Chapel Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John E. Gent officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Hines died Wednesday, August 2, in the SallyNursing Home in Shelbyville, following a long illness. He was a native of Lincoln County, the son of the late James T. Hines and Mary Zimmerman Hines. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Nell Hines, Bellville, and Mrs. Oma Hines, Lewisburg; and several nieces and nephews.
