Sources: Visited and photographed stones on 1 Dec 2011 by C. Wayne Austin. Added here 21 Sep 2012 same. This cemetery is also listed on page 122-127 Moore County Cemetery Records book by Tim & Helen Marsh, about 1976. However, we generally found some new listings and some we did not find because a few more stones were decayed and lost and others dug up by this researcher. I believe this is not a comprehensive survey. Some stones were missed because of the haste in which I blew thru this project. It was late in the afternoon. I believe the inscriptions that are available to read are about 250 to 300 for this graveyard. As of now 21 Sep 2012 the number of tombstones representing grave listings found by this researcher in this cemetery is 243 compared to the current number on findagrave.com of 84. That is because I tend to look for all of the stones and not just my family or the easy to read & photograph stones. However I also I did not do a thorough survey and missed several stones from what is shown in the various places you find this cemetery depicted even if I have more listings than others. This cemetery is well kept and there are not a lot of disheveled stones.
