Unknown Confederate States Army soldier. One party believes this may be the burial for: "Stanhope Petty Chesterfield "Stanley" Smith. Stanhope has another marker that has been placed within the past few years per Imogean Magnusson McDonald"
Unknown souls - fieldstones with no inscription marking grave: 6322/6323/6324/6325/6326/6338/6344/6351/6353/6354/6355/6391/field stone north side of the WJ Rogers stone: 6393/6394/6395/6396
Unknown tombstone base with the top broken out - out side the west fence - probably a discard by the clean up folks: 6356/6358
Footstones serving the Bolton Row. I could not get back to them to read them due to the briars: 6362/6363/6364

This cemetery was surveyed by others beginning in 2006 and is shown on Findagrave.com. They evidently cleaned the cemetery, then made photos of the tombstones. The cemetery has since grown back up and become infested in 7 feet thorny Blackberry vines and Sage Grass. It is now impossible to get into the cemetery for photos without getting severely scratched. I cut briars for 2 hours and photographed all I could, but gave up on what looked like about five or six tombstones all photographed when the cemetery was cleared beginning about 2006. The area fenced here is about 1/3 of an acre.

The tombstone for WS Bolton has fallen face down and yielded no photograph of an inscription. Maybe the Tornados of 2011 or 2012 struck here or at least a vandal did, but if so the Bolton Monument fell against the wind. It fell in a westerly direction.  Storms fell everything eastward or north & south depending on the hit from the vortex spin. The two cedar trees shown standing in the Findagrave survey now no longer exist. They were cut or the tornados destroyed them. If the Tornados got them then I am sure tombstones were broken in that violet weather that occurred 27 Apr 2011 and again about the same day in 2012.

Photographed on a cloudy day 7 Mar 2016 about noon to 2 PM. The inscriptions were updated with exceptions found or known by C. Wayne Austin. This cemetery is not presented in the book Lincoln County Cemeteries by Tim & Helen Marsh in the 1980s. Findagrave.com has 38 listings but some duplication. The actual count as I have it is 36 listings, but unreported unmarked graves would push that much higher. Added here 18 Apr 2016.
