Obituary:
Pulaski Citizen, August 12, 1897: This community was made very sad last week
by the death of one of her most elegant old ladies. On Monday morning the
black
angel of death visited the home of A. G. Wells, claimed his wife, Martha
Wells, and bore her spirit to that bourne from whence no traveler returns.
The cause of her
death was a cancer. the remains were interred at the Shores burial grounds.
