	WELLS, Albert Gallatin 24 Oct 1823 13 Feb 1912, [h/o 1. Martha Burge Wells,

	Obituary:
	Albert G. Wells, aged about 90, died Tuesday at his home at Shore�s mill and 
	was buried there yesterday. He was a member of the Methodist church and is 
	survived 
	by his 3rd wife, who was formerly a Miss Prince. Mr. Wells is said to have 
	been born in Prospect section. He later went to Texas, and then to 
	California during the 
	gold fever craze in 1849. It is said that he met a "strike" there, returning 
	to Giles County after a few years.

	Obituary:
	Pulaski Citizen, August 12, 1897: This community was made very sad last week 
	by the death of one of her most elegant old ladies. On Monday morning the 
	black
	angel of death visited the home of A. G. Wells, claimed his wife, Martha 
	Wells, and bore her spirit to that bourne from whence no traveler returns. 
	The cause of her
	death was a cancer. the remains were interred at the Shores burial grounds.
