Obituary:
Funeral services for George W. Tipper, 89, who died at 9:30 o�clock Tuesday night April 2, at his home on South Sixth Street, were held at 3 o�clock Wednesday after-
noon at the residence, with the rites conducted by the Rev. I. G. Gatlin, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial took place in the Shores Cemetery. Mrs. Tipper died
last year. Mr. Tipper is survived by four daughters, Misses Marcia and Florence Tipper, Pulaski, Mrs. Frank Prince, Nashville, and Mrs. B. L. Lucers, Goodsprings;
three sons, Edmond Tipper, Pulaski, George Tipper, Goodsprings, and Charles Tipper, Petersburg; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
