Funeral services for George Winston Tipper, 73, retired Giles County farmer, were held at 3 o�clock Tuesday afternoon in Bennett-May Funeral Home, conducted by
the Rev. Charles Brown of Lawrenceburg and the Rev. Mack Pinkelton, Baptist minister. Burial took place in the Shores Cemetery. Mr. Tipper died Monday
morning, July 4, in Lawrence County Hospital. Born January 21, 1893, in Giles County, he was the son of the late G. W. Tipper and Nancy Norwood Tipper.
He was a Methodist. Mr. Tipper is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie Hood Tipper; four sons, Harold Tipper and Carroll Tipper, both of Lawrenceburg, Charlie Tipper,
Murfreesboro and Howard Tipper, Nashville; three daughters, Mrs. D____Hood, Goodsprings, Mrs. Mary Hastings, Lewisburg, and Mrs. Norma Vincent, Arkansas;
one brother, Charlie Tipper, Delina, Lincoln County; and three sisters, Miss Florence Tipper and Mrs. Elizabeth Prince, both of Pulaski, and Mrs. Olga Lucas,
Lawrenceburg. Bennett-May Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
