Obituary:
Funeral services for Robert Neal Lucas, 74, retired Giles County farmer, were held at 2 o�clock Saturday afternoon at Shores Church of Christ, with the burial in the
church cemetery. Mr. Lucas died Thursday afternoon, July 20, at his home in Pulaski, after a brief illness. Born January 10, 1887, in Lawrence County, he was
the son of the late William E. Lucas and Nancy Doggett Lucas. Mr. Lucas is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Tipper Lucas; one son, Erskine Miles Lucas, Shores,
three daughters, Mrs. Velma Powell, Oak Grove, Mrs. Clemmy Raymond, Cornersville, and Mrs. Stella Defor, Pulaski; twenty grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren;
three sisters, Mrs. Ada Cates, Choate Creek, Mrs. Lillie Fox, Goodsprings, and Mrs. Martha Lee, Huntsille, Ala.; and two half-sisters, Mrs. Lila
Campbell, and Mrs. Bertha Harwell, Texas. Bennett-May Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mary Olga Lucurs, 96, of Rt. 2, Pulaski, died Friday, October 8, 1982, at Giles County Hospital. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sun., Oct. 10 at Carr
& Erwin Chapel with burial in the Shores Cemetery, the Rev. Mack Pinkelton officiating. Mrs. Lucurs was the daughter of the late George Washington and Nannie L.
Norwood Tipper, and widow of the late Robert Neal Lucurs. She is survived by a son, Erskine Lucurs, Pulaski; three daughters, Mrs. Clemmie Liles, Pulaski, Mrs.
Velma Powell, Prospect, and Mrs. Stella Defoe, Fairhope, Alabama; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
