old Phillips-Shores Mill site) GILES COUNTY, TENNESSEE
  
	Ollie Huell Cates, 55, of Minor Hill died Thursday, May 2 at Giles County 
	Hospital.
	Funeral services were conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Chapel 
	with
	Church of Christ minister Bernard Kennett (Konig) officiating. Burial was in 
	Shores
	Cemetery. Born in Giles County, he was the son of Mrs. Elsie Bivins Cates 
	Hopkins 
	of Pulaski who survives and the late Avie Cates. In addition to his mother 
	survivors
	include his wife, Mrs. Bernice Cates; two daughters, Debbie Cates and Teresa
	Cates, both of Minor Hill; two sons, Dwayne and Dwight Cates, both of Minor
	Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Opal Lemar and Mrs. Lucille Stafford, both of 
	Louisville,
	Ky.; one brother, Clifford Cates of Louisville and two grandchildren.
