Several Unmarked graves

This cemetery is named for the man who gave the land for the Reed burial ground, Mr. James L. Reed, father of George Reed who is buried here. This information given by Elderly citizens, Mr Cecil Bowden and Miss Della C. Walker. citizens, Mr. Cecil Bowden and Miss Della C. Walker as found Jun 26, 1958 by Ralph D. Whitesell and Myrtle Lee Walker.

I do not consider this a complete listing. There are several fallen and otherwise parts of monuments in this cemetery. I walked the cemetery and made photos at random, but while this listing interfaced with past cemetery transcribers I think there are several stones missed by these transcribers too. That means to me there are still missed stones out there and no one has captured them in photography other than the ones not photographed above or even those also not photographed on the Findagrave.com site. I was of the impression I photographed about 85% of the cemetery but the listing above indicates it is higher than that. If the listing was not complete then maybe the transcription is really closer to 85%

I could find no James L Reed in cemeteries anywhere in Marshall Co so does Mr. James L Reed here lie here too? C Wayne Austin 14 Jul 2014.

Added here by C. Wayne Austin 14 Jul 2014 and sourced from the photography and visit of 8 Jul 2014.  This cemetery is included on Page 139-140 of the book Marshall County Tennessee Cemeteries, by Tim & Helen Marsh & older surveys by Ralph Whitesell, As surveyed 26 Jun 1958 by Ralph D. Whitesell and Myrtle Lee Walker as that was before modifying for any changes since then. As of now Findagrave has just over 80 of the above 152 listings, but there are a few photos not on this site. The stones in this cemetery are very dirty and hard to read without some kind of cleaning. I was unable to do that.
