Roger Dale Cagle of Prospect passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Veteran's University Medical Center in Nashville, Tn. He was born on August 18, 1947 in Bethel, Tennessee and was 67 years old.
He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and family, retired from the United States Navy, he served in the U. S. Marines during the Vietnam War, was a retired nurse, and a member of Bethel Lodge # 194.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 20th from 12:00 until 3:00 at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow visitation on Saturday, at 3:00pm with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating followed by a military service.
A graveside memorial service at Prospect Cemetery will be at a later date. He is preceded in death by his, son, Dale Henry Cagle, parents, Shelby and Dorothy Rodgers Cagle, sister, Sue Miller, and a brother, David Richard Cagle.
He is survived by his, Wife, Alice Cagle of Prospect Daughter, Christina (Matthew) Duke of Prospect Grandchildren, Tucker and Hayden Duke of Prospect
Sisters, Millie Jo Turner of Bethel, Tn. and Peggy Ivy Smith of Prospect, Tn. Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Roger Dale Cagle.
