Location: From the Bedford County Court House in Shelbyville go east of Wartrace Pike 2 blocks and turn south (right) on S. Jefferson St. After passing the Baptist Church on your left the cemetery is next left. No parking on South Jefferson St.
This aerial map shows the cemetery in more detail with the Old Shelbyville Cemetery separated from the Cowan Cemetery. The Cowan has the large monuments and a rock fence surrounding it. It sits next to the Church.
